The kick off meeting of the 4-year MEDIPOL project funded by the European Commission through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange took place at the end of January 2020 at the Duangtawan Hotel in Chiang Mai. Aston University (UK), lead the meeting via Professor Paul Topham and Professor Brian Tighe, with representatives from the three Thai partner institutes NU, CMU and MFU present. Representing Naresuan University were the project leaders Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukunya Ross and Asst. Prof. Dr. Gareth Ross, along with Assoc Prof. Dr. Metha Rutnakornpituk and Assoc Prof. Dr. Jarupa Viyoch, who all presented their current research interests. The next step is the exchange of both staff and students with the first secondments taking place from April 2020.
