The president of Naresuan Univeristy, Honorary Professor Dr.Kanchana Ngourungsi together with all of the University?s administrative committee, Dean of our Faculty of Science, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Samrit Mopoung along with the Assistant Dean, Asst.Prof.Dr. Sukunya Ross, had an honourable meeting and welcomed the Ambassador of Ireland, H.E. Mr. Joseph Anthony Cotter and Ms. Piyachat Tharechat (Consular Supervisor) at the NU president office, 24th Jan, 9 am. The purpose of H.E. Mr. Joseph visit was to strengthen links between Naresuan and Universities in Ireland, in terms of education. The opening talk and discussion were from all of the committee, along with the strategy from the NU president, this also included the invitations of Professors from Ireland to visit NU during our 30th year anniversary of Naresuan University. Asst.Prof.Dr. Ross talked with the H.E. Mr. Joseph, later after the meeting about funding sources available to the members of faculty of science and where to apply. H.E. Mr. Joseph suggested one particular field of interest is that of computer science. This is the first step in searching for future collaborations among EU member countries and Thailand.
